Passes
There are four passes that
discount camping fees in Washington State Parks.
Off-Season Senior
Citizen Pass

Disabled Veteran's
Lifetime Pass

Proof of residency, veteran's status with a
service-connected disability of at least 30 percent. |

Proof of Age: You
must be 62 years of age or older for senior citizen passes. To prove age, use your
Washington State driver's license or identification card, birth certificate, notorized
affidavit of age, or a witnessed statement of age.
Proof of Income: You
must have an income of $35,000 or less and meet the requirements for a property tax
exemption under the Revised Code of Washington 84.36.381. If you are married, then your
spouse's income must also be included. Eligibility is determined on the income, including
Social Security, for the full previous year.
Proof
of Disability: You
must provide certification of your condition in writing on official letterhead
stationery or have thepass application form signed by the agency, company,
or doctor who had declared
the disability. The document must also certify that you are receiving disability
payments, except where noted. A Permanent Disability Parking Permit
(issued by the Department of
Licensing) may be also used as proof of disability.
Disability
Qualifications:
Legally blind: 20/200 or
less in your best eye with correction, or contraction of visual field to not greater than
20 degrees.
Profoundly Deaf: Hearing
loss of 75 percent or greater in best ear unaided.
Developmentally Disabled: If
entitled by the Department of Social and Health Services to benefits for permanent
disability as a developmentally disabled person
Permanently Disabled: You
must meet the disability definition used by the United States Social Security
Administration.
Short term Disability: Good
for one year if you meet the disability requirements with a condition that may change.
Disabled Veteran Status:
Provide one of the following:
disability award letter, or
certification from the Department of Veterans Affairs, or
separation certificate or similar document from the certifying agency, or
have the pass application signed by the Department of Veterans Affairs or military
service.

Rules for Pass Holders
You must have your pass with you and it must be current.
You must be a member of the camping unit
Your guests who camp in a separate campsite must pay the regular fee
Campers are limited to standard limits of length of stay
Passes do not provide discounts for annual permits, reservation
fees, or other services unless noted above
You must be using a Washington State Park
May not be used in conjunction with any other pass or discount.
