Horses are very welcome at
Riverside State Park! Over 25 miles of varied landscape await the horse rider. Some of
these miles are dedicated solely to horse-back use, some are shared use with hikers and
bicycles. The center of horse activity is the Equestrian Area, located on the west side of the Spokane River just off Government Way. Horses may be rented here from the concessionaire. Horses are NOT allowed in the natural areas, and in any of the park east of the Spokane River, including the Little Spokane River Natural Area.
