Skiing and Snowshoeing

Skiing in Riverside State Park is a delightful winter-time adventure. The Centennial Trail is the most popular route, and is rated for beginners for most of its length. Other trails in the Bowl and Pitcher area and Equestrian Area are a cross-country delight for more advanced skiiers.

The entire network of trails are ideal for snowshoeing and an ideal way to have the place all to yourself after nature dumps the white stuff.

Riverside receives snow at any time of the late fall and winter, but how much varies from year to year. When there is enough snow, though, skiing is a great way to experience the park.
