Volunteers!
We are in need for volunteers to help
us keep the Spokane House Interpretive Center open this summer season. Are you interested
in helping open the doors of the center? Experience not necessary, just dependability for
a few hours a month.
If you are interested
in serving in an advisory capacity for management and future directions
of the park, come lend your voice
to the Riverside Advisory Board. This
council is an on-going body to assist in the park decisions and management
issues.
We now also have the Riverside State Park Foundation, a voluntary
group organized to offer volunteer assistance to thepark, and to raise funds for the park
to be spent in benefit of the park. Are you a helping or fund-raising kind of person? Give
us a call!
Other volunteer opportunities also
abound! We have scouts, schools, church groups, local businesses, recreation clubs, and
many others who donate their time and energy to make the park better. Without the help of
volunteers, the park does not have the staff or resources to maintain and develop the
facility as we all wish it to be.
In addition, we have camp hosts, who
serve campers by sharing information and keeping an eye on the campground for a month at a
time.
Consider giving the park your support! Contact the park office for more information. |
